FACULTY OF ECONOMICS
was formed and started functioning since the foundation of the university (1990). In 1995, the faculty graduated its first graduates. Since 2003, the faculty has been offering two-level education: bachelor and master. Most of the graduates of the institute work in the profession they received in organizations of various sectors of the economy: commercial and non- commercial, financial credit and insurance companies, banks, the RA National Assembly, the RA Government. The best graduates of the master’ sdegree work in the relevant departments and units of the university, continue their education in the post-graduate programs of the institutes of the National Academy, the Academy of Management under the Government of the Republic of Armenia, universities in
Armenia and abroad.
THE FOLLOWING SPECIALISTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS
- Economics; Graduate Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's in Economics
- Finances; Graduate qualification: Bachelor of Economics
- Informatics (Computer Science), Graduate Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science
- Management; Graduate Qualification: Bachelors or Masters in Management
All professions are licensed and accredited by the state. In the Institute of Economics, Management and Informatics, training is organized by off-line and distance learning
methods. Undergraduate education lasts 4 years, distance education lasts 5 years, Master’s education
lasts 2 years.
