YHU is equipped with a variety of exercise equipment and necessary sports equipment, the presence of which allows to hold classes of such sports as MMA, traditional karate-do, as well as bodybuilding and body fitness programs . Having such a gymnasium and a committee endowed with a high initiative of sports of the SC, the YHU had multi-disciplinary works with the students of the university and second persons. Various seminars were held in karate-do, football, volleyball and basketball sports, on intra-university and extra-university scales, where high results were shown. Both foreign and Armenian students participated in the tournaments, which speaks of the exclusive involvement of students in this or that program, which was indiscriminately controlled by the sports committee of SC and the university.
