On June 2, the first meeting of the University Council for the 2024-2025 academic year
On June 2, the first meeting of the University Council for the 2024-2025 academic year was held at Yerevan Haybusak University. During the session, a number of important strategic and administrative issues were discussed and approved, including:
- Final approval of the 2025-2030 strategic plans of Yerevan Haybusak University and Haybusak College,
- Summary of the university accreditation process and refinement of the final report,
- Presentation of new academic programs and action plans, particularly in the fields of Psychology and Law,
- Discussion on improving living conditions for international students,
- Approval of new department heads,
- English language teaching programs, including the establishment of an English Language Center, doubling the number of English classes, and introducing incentive mechanisms for instructors,
- Presentation of preparations for the visit of Italian partners,
- Presentation of the anatomy room furnishing process,
- Approval of a new format for the Ideas Competition aimed at promoting educational participation,
- Discussion on the implementation process and future prospects of the Google Education system, among other current matters.
The University Council session affirmed the institution’s continued path of progress, emphasizing the ongoing nature of educational reforms and the development of effective governance mechanisms.
