CONSTITUTION AND SOVEREIGNTY OF STATES

Abstract. The article considers problems of constitutional consolidation of sovereignty of states and forms of its manifestation. The article summarizing the results of the systematic analysis of the norms provided by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia reveals the legal content of the term «state sovereignty» and the normative functional role in the process of constitutional regulation. The article details the necessity and role of the Constitution for the state, the principles of its organization. The article subjected to a general analysis of the constitutions of different states, studied international experience and gave scientific interpretations of norms expressing the relationship between the sovereign and the rule of law in the science of constitutional law.
