The delegation of Yerevan Haybusak University participated in the NET24 international conference in Athens, Greece, on April 3-4, which brought together representatives of the educational system from all over the world under one roof.
This was the second event organized by NET24 this year, with the next ones scheduled for September in Bangkok, October in Warsaw (summit), and late November in Dubai.
The main mission of the organization is to form an active international community by uniting universities, agencies, and partner organizations. NET24 also has an online platform that facilitates cooperation between universities and agencies. Currently, 16 universities, including Yerevan Haybusak University, and about 23 educational agencies are registered on the platform.
Describing the event, Narine Martirosyan, Deputy Director of the Medical Institute of Yerevan Haybusak University for Foreign Students, noted that thanks to the high-level preparatory work of the organizers, universities were provided with a complete meeting schedule before the event, where each agency had 20 minutes for their meetings.
“The geography of the agencies was quite broad—Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Hungary, Estonia, Poland, India, Thailand, various African countries, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, Malaysia, Brazil, and more.
The event was also attended by universities from Poland, Greece, Malta, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Cyprus.
As a result of the event, Yerevan Haybusak University has already established contacts with several agencies interested in collaboration. Currently, contracts are being drafted, and after they are signed, it will be possible to attract a larger number of international students,” said Narine Martirosyan.
