Partners from the Estonian Business School (EBS) visit Yerevan Haybusak University
On October 29, a broad meeting was held at Yerevan Haybusak University with the participation of faculty and administrative staff and the representatives of the Estonian Business School (EBS).
European specialists shared their approaches and experiences in organizing higher education.
EBS Honorary Professor Olav Aarna presented the higher education system in Estonia, highlighting that the number of universities in the country has decreased from 50 to 18 over the past two decades.
Associate Professor Anneli Veispak shared their experience on how to “teach” students and assess them. She emphasized that the goal should not be to continuously provide students with knowledge but to ensure they can apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Katrin Käärmann, head of EBS’s Bachelor of Entrepreneurship program, presented the tools that enhance the effective organization of the educational process.
It is worth noting that “Haybusak” University is the only institution in Armenia accredited by European agencies, including the Estonian Higher Education Quality Agency (HAKA).
