OXIDATIVE DAMAGE IN GLOBULIN FRACTION OF BLOOD SERUM PROTEINS IN EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS

Abstract. It was studied the correlation of the levels of anti- and prooxidant metalloproteins in various age groups of experimental animals. A shift in the ratio of antioxidant/ prooxidant metalloproteins was revealed, which appears to be a reliable indicator of age-related oxidative damage in the globulin fraction of blood serum proteins.
