Abstract. The article discusses the causes of post-traumatic disorders in military personnel because of two large-scale hot conflicts during the Cold War and ways to overcome them. Only psychologists or psychiatrists are not able to change anything without state support. The analysis of the post-traumatic syndrome is of paramount importance for the work carried out with the veterans of the Artsakh wars.
